Job Description

Role Overview: You will be working in the area of Software Engineering at Capgemini, where you will be involved in the development, maintenance, and optimization of software solutions and applications. Your responsibilities will include applying scientific methods to analyze and solve software engineering problems, developing and applying software engineering practices and knowledge, and supervising the work of other software engineers. You will collaborate with your team members and stakeholders to achieve common goals. Key Responsibilities: - Apply scientific methods to analyze and solve software engineering problems. - Develop and apply software engineering practices and knowledge in research, design, development, and maintenance. - Exercise original thought and judgment to supervise the work of other software engineers. - Build skills and expertise in software engineering discipline to meet role expectations. - Collaborate and act as a team player with other software engineers and stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - Fully competent in your area with a deep understanding of programming concepts, software design, and software development principles. - Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and lead a team in software design and development activities. - Proactively understand client needs and provide advice. - Assess and adapt to project issues, formulate innovative solutions, work under pressure, and drive the team towards technical and commercial goals. - Aware of profitability needs and may manage costs for specific projects. - Ability to explain complex concepts to various audiences and motivate team members.
