This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a ServiceNow Solution Architect – ITSM/Integrations/CMDB in India.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and architect ServiceNow solutions for enterprise clients, focusing on ITSM, CMDB, and integrations. You will guide technical teams, mentor engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, efficient, and innovative solutions. The position involves designing and implementing customizations, configuring workflows, and integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise systems. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality deliverables while supporting business objectives and operational excellence. - Accountabilities:
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of software engineers delivering complex ServiceNow projects.
- Gather and analyze system requirements from end-users, IT teams, and key stakeholders to design tailored solutions.
- Customize ServiceNow applications, configure workflows, application UI, work orders, and modules.
- Implement and manage integrations using REST/SOAP web services, mid servers, and cloud-to-cloud connections.
- Apply scripting, business rules, flow designer logic, and automation to optimize platform performance.
- Participate in user acceptance testing, impact assessments, and remediation of production incidents.
- Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and ensure adherence to technical standards and best practices.
- Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in ServiceNow implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development.
- Strong expertise in ITSM, CMDB, custom applications, and integrations.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, Scripted REST APIs, UI Builder, and Script Includes.
- Hands-on experience with data extraction technologies (JDBC, ODBC) or ETL integrations.
- Experience with Web Services (SOAP, REST) and automated bi-directional integrations between systems.
- Ability to create technical design documents, user documentation, and operational guides.
- Strong strategic planning, resource allocation, and coordination skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to pursue ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, or ITIL Foundation.
