Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for ServiceNow modules: ITOM Discovery, ITAM, and CMDB.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Discovery probes, sensors, and patterns.
• Manage and monitor Discovery schedules, credentials, and MID Server configurations.
• Ensure CMDB data integrity, relationship accuracy, and reconciliation.
• Handle Incident, Problem, and Change Management activities as per ITIL standards.
• Work closely with infrastructure and platform teams to support integrations and data sync with external systems.
• Participate in on-call rotational support for critical issues.
• Create and maintain runbooks, knowledge articles, and troubleshooting guides.
• Perform regular platform health checks and optimize performance.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline operational tasks.
• Support release management, upgrades, and ensure smooth production deployments.

• Required Skills & Experience

• 5–7 years of experience in ServiceNow production support / administration / ITOM operations.
• Strong hands-on experience in ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping), ITAM, and CMDB.
• Expertise in Discovery patterns, probes, sensors, and MID Server management.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols: SNMP, SSH, WMI, REST, SOAP, APIs.
• Experience with ServiceNow CMDB data model, CI relationships, reconciliation rules.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party tools (monitoring, asset, inventory systems).
• Good knowledge of ITIL processes—Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration Management.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and performance tuning capabilities.
