Position: ServiceNow Developer – Security Operations (SecOps)

Experience: 5–7 Years

Contract: 6 months (UK Remote)

Certifications: SIR, VR, CAD, CSA, CIS

Key Skills / Requirements:

* Hands-on ServiceNow SecOps expertise (SIR & VR modules)

* Scripting & integration proficiency (JavaScript, Glide API, REST/SOAP)

* Strong knowledge of security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management

* Mandatory certifications:

Certified Implementation Specialist – Security Incident Response (SIR)

Certified Implementation Specialist – Vulnerability Response (VR)

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD/CIS preferred)

ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA)

ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation

Role & Responsibilities:

* Configure, develop, and support ServiceNow SecOps modules

* Design and customize solutions in SIR and VR

* Build and maintain scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Client Scripts)

* Integrate ServiceNow with external security tools (Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, Splunk, CrowdStrike)

* Automate SecOps workflows and create orchestration playbooks

* Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and ServiceNow teams to deliver solutions

* Troubleshoot and resolve issues in SecOps modules and integrations

* Maintain technical documentation

* Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployments

* Conduct user training and provide post-implementation support

Experience & Competencies:

* 5–7 years in ServiceNow development, 2–3 years with SecOps (SIR & VR)

* Proficient in scripting, UI customization, and integrations

* Familiarity with CMDB, ITSM, ITIL practices

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills

* Teamwork and leadership experience

* Presentation development and customer engagement skills
