Job Description

Job Description: We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience in testing Point of Sale (POS) systems, Kitchen Display Systems (KDS), and Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Sanity.io. This role supports a global brand in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) space and involves functional, integration, and regression testing across web, mobile, and backend systems. Note: Candidates located in Nagpur or Gondia will be required to work onsite. Others may work remotely. Working hours are 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM IST to overlap with the client’s U.S. Eastern Time zone. Key Responsibilities: Create and execute test plans for POS and KDS systems, ensuring accurate performance and real-time data flow Validate CMS workflows, content updates, and publishing logic (e.g., Sanity.io) Conduct end-to-end testing across platforms and environments Collaborate with development and product teams to define testing scope and troubleshoot issues Log, track, and validate defects using JIRA or similar tools Participate in sanity, smoke, and regression testing cycles before production releases Required Skills: 4–8 years of QA experience with direct exposure to POS and KDS testing Experience with CMS platforms; familiarity with Sanity.io is a strong advantage Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test design, and bug lifecycle Hands-on experience with test and defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) Excellent communication and documentation skills Preferred: Candidates based in Nagpur or Gondia (for onsite presence) Experience in restaurant or retail domain Exposure to automation tools like Selenium or Playwright Background in Agile/Scrum environments Show more Show less
