Responsibilities
- Developing custom applications, enhancements, and scoped applications within an Agile Scrum team.
- Scripting using JavaScript, GlideScript, AngularJS, React, and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborating with product owners, platform administrators, and other developers to refine user stories and deliver incremental value.
- Implementing and managing integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and other integration methods.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including solution designs and development standards.
- Building and optimizing UI/UX components, including service portal widgets and workspace experiences.
- Participating in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring performance optimization, security best practices, and compliance with platform governance policies.
Skills Required
- Proficient programming skills, strong proficiency in JavaScript and Glide APIs, with deep experience with ServiceNow development across multiple modules.
- Advanced integration expertise and knowledge using REST and SOAP.
- Ability to design scalable, enterprise-level solutions.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Understanding of UI/UX design principles.
Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in relevant modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SecOps).
- Potentially ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) for highly experienced developers.
