Job Title:

Job Summary:

The Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring exceptional customer service, optimizing service revenue, managing a team of technicians, and maintaining high standards of vehicle servicing and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of the service department ensuring timely and quality service delivery.
  • Supervise service advisors, technicians, and support staff to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor job card opening, repair order completion, billing, and customer follow-ups.
  • Ensure all vehicles are diagnosed and repaired accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Handle customer complaints and queries with professionalism and provide resolutions quickly.
  • Maintain high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores as per OEM standards.
  • Ensure adherence to OEM processes and audit compliances.
  • Plan and execute service marketing campaigns and increase workshop footfall.
  • Monitor spare parts availability and coordinate with the parts department.
  • Train and develop service team to enhance performance and technical knowledge.
  • Maintain workshop infrastructure, equipment, and cleanliness as per OEM guidelines.
  • Submit regular reports to management on service performance, revenue, and expenses.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of four-wheelers and repair processes.
  • Good understanding of DMS (Dealer Management System) & service KPIs.
  • Customer-centric mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiar with OEM standards, audits, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma/Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in the automobile service industry, with at least 4 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
