Service Engineer

The Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and after-sales service support for Suba Solutions' machinery at customer locations in and around Coimbatore. The role requires strong technical skills, customer handling ability, and willingness to travel.

Key Responsibilities1. Machine Installation & Commissioning

• Install, test, and commission corrugation, die-cutting, folder gluer, or other packaging machinery at customer sites.
• Ensure proper calibration and alignment of machines.
• Conduct trials and hand over machines to customers.

2. Troubleshooting & Maintenance

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
• Provide timely service support to minimize machine downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance as per schedule.

3. Customer Support

• Train machine operators and supervisors on operation and safety.
• Maintain strong communication with customers for service updates.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and provide resolutions.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain service reports, installation checklists, and feedback forms.
• Update service calls in the CRM/system.
• Coordinate with the Service Manager for parts requirement and follow-ups.

5. Coordination

• Work closely with the Sales, Spares, and Technical teams.
• Support demo, trials, AMC visits, and breakdown visits.

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge in mechanical/electrical systems.
• Understanding of industrial machinery (printing/packaging machinery preferred).
• Basic understanding of PLCs, sensors, motors, drives (added advantage).
• Good communication and customer interaction skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• Problem-solving and time management skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
