Service Engineer

As a Service Engineer for Ceramic Machine Press, your role will involve the installation, development, troubleshooting, commissioning, and testing of ceramic press systems and components, with a focus on solutions for continuous presses. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Troubleshooting & Problem Solving:** You will be the primary point of contact for all press-related issues in ceramic machinery, efficiently addressing and resolving problems. - **Project Management:** Your responsibilities will include assembly, fitting, testing, cabling, hydraulic work, electrical tasks, and commissioning of new machinery, ensuring timely and high-quality project execution for Press machines. - **Reports and Documentation:** You will be responsible for various reports such as installation reports, machine testing reports, startup & production reports, training reports, assembly visit reports, and final reports. - **Collaboration & Teamwork:** Conduct regular meetings to monitor project progress, share ideas, and promote knowledge-sharing within the team. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement the best solutions. - **Customer Relations:** Act as the primary point of contact for customer-related technical issues or maintenance, coordinating with customers to understand their needs, provide support, and ensure their satisfaction. **Qualification Required:** - **Educational Qualifications:** You should have a Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in relevant engineering field. A BE/Diploma in Engineering would be desirable. - **Professional Experience Required:** - **Essential:** You should have 5 years or more of proven experience in press within industrial machinery, preferably in ceramic manufacturing processes. You should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in decision-making, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. - **Desirable:** Willingness to travel as required and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and innovation within the press-engineering field.
