Service Engineer

As a Service Technician at Liebherr India Private Limited, you will work under supervision within a team to perform maintenance and repair jobs on various machines with high availability targets. You will serve as the Liebherr official representative while on duty. **Key Responsibilities:** - Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul port equipment and construction machinery. - Apply electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical theory to test and modify machinery. - Operate machines for testing, inspection, diagnosis, and troubleshooting. - Set a positive example in punctuality, professional demeanor, and safety regulations. - Test mechanical products and equipment after repair to ensure proper performance. - Repair and replace damaged parts with OEM spares and repaired parts. - Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools. - Perform routine maintenance work, clean, lubricate machines, and examine parts for damage. - Read and interpret operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings. - Overhaul and test machines to ensure operating efficiency and safety. - Complete paperwork including time sheets, work reports, and expense reports. - Maintain quality standards through inspection methods and promote a safe work environment. - Handle and dispose of hazardous wastes and complete factory authorized training. - Demonstrate working knowledge of Liebherr Service Software and prepare for jobs by checking parts and documentation. - Complete jobs independently with little assistance, assist customers with troubleshooting, and attend training sessions. - Maintain tools, PPE, service literature, and a positive attitude. - Train and mentor others, refuse unsafe tasks, and follow company procedures and rules. **Qualifications Required:** - Completed technical apprenticeship covering electric, electronic, mechanic, and hydraulic training. - Experience with part lists, cranes or similar machines maintenance, fault finding, and control systems. - Ability to visualize, organize, manage projects, willingness to travel, interact with all levels of staff, negotiate, communicate, handle confidential information, and work overtime. - Fluent in English, any additional language is an advantage. - Must maintain a valid driver's license and passport at all times.
