Service Engineer

Job Summary:

The Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical equipment at customer sites. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure equipment operates efficiently and reliably.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, and test electrical/mechanical equipment as per company standards.
• Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance of machines and systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in electrical circuits, motors, pumps, and mechanical assemblies.
• Provide technical support to customers on-site and remotely.
• Prepare service reports, inspection documents, and maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and industry standards during service activities.
• Coordinate with the production and design teams for technical improvements.
• Train operators or client staff on the correct operation of equipment.
• Respond promptly to customer service requests to minimize downtime.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, drives, and mechanical components.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical & mechanical schematics and drawings.
• Hands-on skills with tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma / ITI in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Fresher/1 years of experience in installation, maintenance, and servicing of industrial equipment (freshers with good technical skills may also apply).
• Knowledge of safety procedures, electrical standards, and mechanical assembly practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
