Service Engineer

Service Engineer Key Responsibilities Provide prompt follow-up and technical support for customer service requirements. Conduct machinery demonstrations at client sites and educate customers on safe and effective usage. Monitor machinery performance and develop preventive maintenance schedules. Maintain and update records of all machinery sold and serviced by the company. Call and follow up with existing customers to check for any service or maintenance requirements. Manage stock of spare parts, ensuring availability for timely service interventions. Raise invoices after providing services and ensure timely bill collection from customers. Report daily on customer complaints, service activities, and spare parts usage. Prepare weekly reports on warranty and out-of-warranty services handled. Submit weekly expense and service activity reports to the Business Head. Track overall monthly service business, measure revenue generated, and report performance to management. Desired Candidate Profile Diploma, ITI ,Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. 1-3 years of experience as a Service Engineer in the machinery or construction equipment sector. Knowledge of control circuit. Strong technical knowledge of machinery operations, maintenance, and repairs. Ability to conduct product demos and train customers effectively. Knowledge of spare parts management and service documentation. Good communication, problem-solving, and customer-handling skills. Willingness to travel to client sites for service support as required. Authorities      Authority to visit clients for service, demo, or preventive maintenance.      Authority to use spare parts for service work as per requirement.      Authority to raise invoices and collect payments post-service.     Authority to escalate major technical faults to Business Head.     Authority to suggest product improvements based on customer feedback.
