Experience in installation, maintaining, configuring, and deploying Applications on Virtualized and Bare metal Server Platforms. Understanding of various applications like Voice, Conferencing, data.

NAS, SAN Storage Concepts, Virtualization, Data Centre configuration, DNS, LANs/WANs, TCP/IP

Experience in Virtualization, Server configuration, Database configuration, Application Service implementation like Voice, Video, and data services

JOB DETAILS

Design of Virtualized Environment and Data Centre. Installation, Configuration and Optimized implementation of different services in Virtualized or bare metal server.

Primary:

• Responsible for configuring phone/email/chat services


• Configuration of servers, storage, blades, and various software applications (Windows, VMWare, Exchange, Oracle, Netware).


• Understanding of Network Designing and IP Planning


• Configuration Voice gateways like MGCP, H323, SIP Trunk.


• Configuration of RTP, RTCP Technologies, Analog and IP Phones, Dial plans, Route Pattern etc.


• Configuration of Experience in providing Video Conferencing Solutions


• Knowledge of TCP/IP and Network Protocols like IPv4, IPv6, etc.


• Knowledge on QoS Implementation for Voice and Data Services


• Troubleshooting of server and virtualization issues


• Configuring, implementing, and Managing virtualized environment using VMware ESX 3.5 and ESXi 4.0 infrastructures, Microsoft hyper v


• Performing Physical servers to virtual server migration.


• Implementing and Managing High Availability/Clustering environment


• Knowledge on Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).


• Knowledge on DNS/DHCP/WINS Services


• Install and configure computer hardware and software systems.


• Knowledge and understanding of IT Support structures.


• Basic technical knowledge of Desktop and LAN environments with the ability to apply that knowledge to problem resolution. Experience with both Windows and Linux Environments.


• Documentation, Interaction with Customer, Vendor, OEM and Certification Agencies.


• Understanding the requirement of the Project/Customer and preparing Requirement documents

Secondary:

• Knowledge in Basic routing, Switching.


• Experience in IP addressing Schemes, DHCP, Static IP addresses


• Knowledge on Virtualization (vSphere, vCenter)


• Knowledge on Inventory Management


• Experience with Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM)

2. Handle Highly Available Voice network environment by identifying gaps, researching solutions, installing upgrades.


3. Capture System/Product Requirements, Architecture Design, Low Level Design, High Level Design, Implementation


4. Implementation, Integration and configuration of the Voice, Video and Data service subsystem with the Network


5. Co-ordination with Customer & Certification Agencies for clearance of Product & Documentation


6. System Integration, Installation and Commissioning


7. Production Testing Troubleshooting
