Server Manager (5+ Years Experience)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Server Manager to lead the design, deployment, monitoring, and optimization of our server infrastructure across multiple platforms. This senior role requires advanced technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, maintain, and monitor physical and virtual server environments (Windows/Linux).
• Create, configure, and optimize new server instances and infrastructure setups.
• Perform server testing, performance evaluations, and security audits.
• Handle OS updates, patch management, and server hardening.
• Configure and manage backups, replication, disaster recovery, and failover solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve server-related incidents with quick turnaround time.
• Implement cybersecurity best practices and collaborate with security teams.
• Administer access control, user permissions, and IAM policies.
• Manage storage systems (SAN/NAS), RAID configurations, and virtualization clusters.
• Maintain accurate server documentation, configuration records, and maintenance plans.
• Monitor system health using tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana, or similar.
• Automate processes using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or configuration management tools.
• Collaborate with software, cloud, network, and DevOps teams on infrastructure improvements.
• Support cloud and hybrid environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Lead server-related projects and mentor junior technical staff.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in server administration or infrastructure management.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
• Solid experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox, etc.).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Proficiency with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or similar).
• Strong understanding of infrastructure security, OS hardening, and access control.
• Knowledge of backup technologies, DR planning, and high-availability systems.
• Basic understanding of database servers (MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL) and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with monitoring & log management tools.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and coordinate with stakeholders.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
