About the Role: As an SEO Executive, you will develop and implement scalable SEO strategies focused on both technical excellence and creative growth. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, audit and optimize websites for search performance, and play a key role in enhancing the organic contribution to the conversion funnel. Key Responsibilities: SEO Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive on-site and off-site SEO strategies aligned with business goals. Manage SEO activities including metadata optimization, keyword strategies, internal/external linking, and structured data implementation. Monitor SEO performance and execute ongoing audits and optimizations. Technical SEO & Collaboration: Guide product and development teams on SEO best practices for new website features and enhancements. Optimize site architecture, crawlability, indexability, canonicalization, markup, and page speed. Improve SEO readiness across mobile platforms using AMPs and other mobile strategies. Analytics, Reporting & Insight Generation: Utilize tools like Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog for analysis, diagnostics, and reporting. Contribute to SEO reporting processes and performance dashboards. Collaborate on attribution modelling and SEO's role across the full conversion funnel. Content & Link-Building Tactics: Support scalable content strategies that align with search trends and user intent. Develop and manage creative, ethical link-building initiatives to support domain authority. Stay updated with evolving SEO and search engine trends, including algorithm updates and eCommerce best practices. Qualifications: Must-Have: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field. 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in an agency or large-scale eCommerce setting. Proven track record with on-site and off-site SEO, including technical SEO and link-building. Experience with SEO tools: SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console. Technical familiarity with site architecture, robots.txt, sitemaps, redirects, canonical tags, headers, and HTTP responses. Nice-to-Have: Certifications in SEO and Google Analytics. Understanding of CMS systems, XML, JavaScript, and CSS as they relate to SEO. Experience working directly with developers and product teams to implement SEO strategies. Background in building or using homegrown SEO tools for eCommerce platforms. Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
