We are hiring Senior Workday Expense Analyst

Location: Ahmedabad (India)

Shift timing: 7:00 PM to 4:30 AM IST (Night Shift)

About the Role: We’re looking for a Senior Analyst – Workday Expense to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced enterprise environments and has deep expertise across Workday Expenses, HCM, and Finance integrations. You’ll be the Workday Expenses SME, responsible for configuration, security, EIBs, integrations, reporting, and ongoing support — while driving automation, testing new releases, and building dashboards that empower Finance and HR leaders globally.

Key Responsibilities: Act as the Workday SME for Expenses, managing configurations, integrations, EIBs, troubleshooting, and daily system support.

Lead the design, testing, and deployment of Workday Expense solutions while ensuring alignment with best practices.

Collaborate with stakeholders and Finance/COEs to gather requirements, streamline processes, and resolve pain points.

Maintain data accuracy, implement enhancements, and adopt new Workday features during release cycles.

Build and maintain custom reports and dashboards for U.S. and international finance operations.

Drive automation and workflow optimization, reducing manual effort and improving reporting.

Oversee system testing (unit, regression, UAT) and manage upgrades, release evaluations, and adoption strategies.

Deliver training and expand cross-functional knowledge of Workday across teams.

Required Skills & Experience: 2-6 years of hands-on Workday Expense/Finance experience, with additional Workday HCM exposure.

Strong background in Workday Expense configuration, business process setup, and security administration.

Expertise in Workday EIB, with hands-on experience in Workday Studio and Workday Extend.

Proven knowledge of system testing methodologies (unit, regression, UAT, pre-launch).

Experience supporting Workday release management, evaluating new features, and recommending adoption strategies.

Solid understanding of integrations of Workday.

Proficiency in Agile project tools.

Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.

Preferred Skills: Experience customizing Workday Expense functionality and extending platform capabilities. Familiarity with automation, workflow optimization, and building scalable reporting solutions.

Willingness to expand into related ERP/finance platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

UG: B.Tech/B.E., B.COM, B.B.A, B.SC, BCA (any specialization)

PG: MBA/PGDM (any specialization)
