Your Role
The Production Technician 40 is responsible for integrating system components and commissioning them to operate as a functional system according to specifications, along with analyzing test results from various tests, and addressing any identified failures, working under limited supervision. The role is Responsible for conducting final-stage testing of X-ray equipment on the production line to ensure each unit meets defined performance, safety, and quality standards. This role focuses on validating the operational integrity of assembled systems before shipment and supporting troubleshooting of any test failures. The role ensures equipment compliance with calibration procedures to maintain accuracy and adherence to standards. The role documents, including pilot runs of interacting systems. The role promptly reports any deviations during testing to facilitate quick resolution by the Manufacturing group leader.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform functional and safety tests on fully assembled X-ray systems as part of production output validation.
- Operate specialized test setups to measure X-ray output parameters such as dose, image quality, and system stability.
- Verify compliance with internal specifications and applicable regulatory standards (e.g., IEC 60601, FDA).
- Document test results, flag non-conformances, and support root cause analysis for failed units. Records & Reports any disturbances or deviations encountered during the test or production process promptly to the Manufacturing group leader for resolution as per the quality protocol.
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment and fixtures used in production testing.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve test processes.
- Demonstrates proficient computer skills to navigate applications, access digital work instructions, and accurately sign test and work records.
- Maintains understanding and adherence to established personal safety, security, and environmental practices within the testing environment.
- Collaborates with Precision Mechanics/Electrical/Electronic Mechanics to identify and address variations in measured values, implementing improvement actions and validating their results.
- Exhibits behaviors and actions that support team goals, leveraging newly acquired knowledge and skills to enhance work processes, and taking effective action when necessary, even with incomplete information.
- Records process validation data and adjusts sub-systems/tools/processes based on observations and standard measurements to remedy identified shortcomings and improve overall performance.

Minimum Required Education
High School Diploma, Vocational training or equivalent., Graduate in professional degree.
Minimum Required Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in production plant or manufacturing site or equivalent.
