Role Overview:

As a Test Automation Engineer at ABC Glofox, you will play a key role in enhancing the quality and efficiency of our product development by designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for both UI and API testing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate test automation into our CI/CD pipeline and deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API testing using JavaScript, Selenium, and Webdriver.io.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous delivery of software with reliable feedback loops.
• Collaborate with product development teams to design and execute end-to-end test cases.
• Advocate for test automation best practices and promote a quality-first culture across teams.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers on test automation techniques and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize test scripts to ensure maximum coverage and performance.

Key Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Webdriver.io, and Jest.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, including experience with Node.js for automation scripting.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
• Experience with end-to-end testing, UI automation, and API testing for complex systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug and optimize automation pipelines.
• Familiarity with performance testing (optional but a plus).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in mentoring or coaching junior engineers on automation practices.
• Involvement in the testing community (blogs, meetups, etc.).
• Security testing or performance testing experience.
