Ensure code scalability, maintainability, and performance optimization. - Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and align with business objectives. - Engage in peer collaboration, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing. - Stay informed about industry technology trends, contribute to the organization's technology communities, and promote technical excellence. - Adhere to secure coding practices, implement effective unit testing, and ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability. **Qualifications Required:** - Experience in providing first-class service through guidance and continual liaison during development, testing, and implementation activities. - Ability to buddy with Implementation Managers to coordinate and prioritize workloads. - Assessment on key critical skills such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital, and technology. - Thorough technical knowledge and experience in the assigned area of expertise. - Leadership responsibilities include guiding and supporting professional development, allocating work requirements, and coordinating team resources. - Demonstrated ability to influence decision-making and take ownership of managing risk and strengthening controls. - Uphold Barclays Values of Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Stewardship, as well as demonstrate the Barclays Mindset of Empower, Challenge, and Drive.
