Job Description

The Store In-Charge oversees daily store operations, ensuring accurate inventory management and smooth material flow. They supervise store staff, maintain proper documentation, and uphold safety and organizational standards. The role ensures timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while keeping the store well-organized. They also support internal deliveries and event-related material requirements efficiently.

Responsibilities

Oversee and guide the activities of the Store Keeper and Assistant Store Keeper.
Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Provide training and support to store personnel to enhance efficiency and adherence to protocols.
Ensure all incoming materials are received and inspected according to purchase orders, reporting any discrepancies or damages.
Document and process the receipt of goods in the inventory system.
Maintain accurate inventory records and regularly update stock levels.
Conduct periodic stock counts and assist in inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
Organize and categorize stock for easy access and retrieval.
Ensure the store and storage areas are clean, safe, and well-organized.
Oversee the proper handling, storage, and transportation of materials, including hazardous items, in compliance with safety regulations.
Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issuances, and returns.
Ensure all documents related to stock and inventory are securely filed and easily retrievable.
Facilitate intra- and inter-campus deliveries, including merchandise and equipment.
Provide support for events by arranging and delivering necessary materials.
