Senior Specialist - Procurement

As a Senior Specialist Procurement at R1 India, you will play a crucial role in driving sourcing initiatives for IT and HR commodities. Your responsibilities will include: - Strong knowledge of IT & HR sourcing and related supplier market trends/shifts & cost-saving opportunities - Developing sourcing strategies and driving sourcing initiatives for IT and HR commodities - Managing RFx, e-Auction, supplier negotiations & financial analysis - Ensuring adherence to audit guidelines, processes, and procedures by liaising with legal, internal stakeholders, and suppliers - Acting as subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and/or other team members - Experience with working in a global/regional strategic sourcing environment - Contract review & contract lifecycle management - Third-party due diligence & risk assessments - Creating spend level insights and dashboard reporting - Excellent communication & interpersonal skills - High proficiency with Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint applications - Identifying opportunities to leverage procurement tools and processes for research, reporting, and recording procurement transactions - Collaborating with stakeholders to reduce the total cost of ownership of the procurement process and negotiating agreements to minimize risk exposure **Qualifications Required:** - 8+ years of overall procurement experience with 5-6 years in sourcing function & category management - Passionate about sourcing & business acumen - Advanced negotiation skills & analytical ability - Excellent commercial awareness - Experience with Cost model and vendor development - Excellent communication & presentation skills - ERP (Oracle/SAP) vendor/content management skills - Ability to drive strategic decisions and enterprise initiatives - Demonstrated stakeholder management skills R1 India is committed to transforming the healthcare industry with innovative revenue cycle management services.
