Senior Specialist - Architecture

Role description

Versatile General Software Engineer to help build and scale the foundational AI infrastructure powering nextgeneration productivity tools across the enterprise Youll work closely with crossfunctional teams to design and implement a middlewareorchestration layer that connects lowcodenocode workflows with large language models LLMs This layercore to our platform known as Reefis essential for routing and processing AIpowered requests securely and efficiently

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain services in Nodejs and Python that serve as orchestration and middleware for AI workflows

Build scalable secure APIs and services that connect internal tools LLMs and workflow automation platforms like n8nio

Collaborate with technical analysts AI specialists and platform teams to integrate diverse AI capabilities into consistent workflows

Contribute to architecture discussions around service orchestration message routing and LLM integration

Create and manage reusable components that ensure requests from chatbots or other tools are properly routed to the correct models

Support custom service development to manage prompts context enrichment caching and result handling from LLMs

Help evolve the Reef platforms backend logic to support broader use cases across teams

Qualifications

3 to 6 years of software engineering experience in a backend role

Proficiency with Nodejs and Python in production environments

Experience working with AILLM APIs eg OpenAI Azure OpenAI Anthropic etc

Familiarity with lowcodenocode tools especially n8nio Zapier or similar orchestration frameworks

Understanding of RESTful APIs webhooks eventdriven systems and microservices architecture

Strong debugging logging and observability practices

Comfortable collaborating with technical product managers and AIMLfocused teams

Bonus Points

Experience designing or managing middleware or API gateway solutions

Prior work in conversational AI platforms or intelligent chat interfaces

Familiarity with vector databases semantic search or prompt engineering

Background in developer experience DevEx or platform engineering
