Job Description

Role: Senior Software Quality Engineer Location: Pune Experience: 6+ Years Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver new platform features and enhancements. Design, document, and execute test plans and strategies using industry-standard automated frameworks. Ensure release quality of data and API services through both automated and manual testing methods. Set up and manage test data, tools, and cases to support integrated test environments. Develop and maintain QA automation using open-source frameworks. Document, track, and analyze defects, including root cause analysis and resolution. Estimate and plan testing efforts across products and teams. Conduct functional, non-functional, system, and regression testing across data stores, APIs, and EDI services. Take ownership of product quality and foster effective collaboration within the team. Engage in continuous learning and contribute to overall team development. Requirements: 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance for production applications. Strong expertise in functional, exploratory, and regression testing. 4+ years of experience testing applications built with modern languages (e.g., C#, ASP.Net). Hands-on experience with open-source QA automation tools like Selenium or Highlander. Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with tools such as SQL Server Management Studio. Experience testing web services/APIs using tools like Postman. Understanding of CI/CD processes and practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Quick adaptability to new technologies, tools, and changing priorities. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Show more Show less
