About The Opportunity

Operating in the high-growth SaaS and Virtual Events technology sector, our platform enables brands to host immersive webinars, hybrid conferences, and data-rich digital experiences. We engineer scalable, low-latency services that support thousands of concurrent users while capturing actionable engagement insights. To accelerate product innovation, we are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to work onsite in India and guide the evolution of our Laravel and NestJS codebases.
Role & Responsibilities
  • Own design, development, and deployment of new modules across Laravel APIs, NestJS microservices, and modern front-end interfaces.
  • Refactor monolithic PHP code into secure, high-performance REST/GraphQL services with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Optimise MySQL schemas, indexing, and caching layers to achieve sub-second response times under high user load.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and DevOps to translate business needs into technical roadmaps and sprint deliverables.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce engineering standards, and mentor junior developers on best practices.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, implement observability, and champion continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have
  • 5+ years full-stack development with Laravel and NestJS in production environments.
  • Expertise in PHP8, TypeScript, OOP, and SOLID design principles.
  • Strong MySQL query optimisation, indexing, and performance tuning skills.
  • Hands-on REST API design, JWT/OAuth2 security, and third-party integration experience.
  • Proficiency with Git workflows, Docker containers, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Fluent verbal and written communication enabling cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of event-driven microservices using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with React or Vue for SPA front-end development.
  • AWS, Kubernetes, or ECS deployment experience.
  • Test-Driven Development with PHPUnit, Jest, or similar frameworks.
