Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Trainer to join our team. The Senior Sales Trainer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering effective sales training programs to enhance the skills and performance of our sales team. The ideal candidate is passionate about skilling the sales team, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a proven track record in sales training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, update, and deliver comprehensive sales training programs tailored to the needs of the sales team.
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify skills gaps and training opportunities and customize the training programs accordingly.
  • Collaborate with sales managers to identify specific areas for improvement and provide targeted training solutions.
  • Create training materials, including presentations, job aids, and interactive exercises, to support training programs.
  • Developing and maintaining a training schedule to ensure that all sales team members receive timely and relevant training.
  • Organize and conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars for both new hires and existing sales team members.

Key measures of success:

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to sales team members based on performance assessments.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and continuously improve training programs to align with industry trends and organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate product knowledge, sales processes, and customer service training into the overall sales training curriculum.
  • Collaborating with internal and external partners to organize and facilitate the session including logistics, scheduling, and resources.
  • Assist in onboarding new sales team members, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Managing PIP programs for individuals.

Key Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on driving performance improvements.
  • Proficiency in using training and learning management systems is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications in training or sales are desirable

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in sales training. Preferably in the premium and luxury home interior products
  • Proven experience in sales training or a sales role with a strong understanding of sales processes and techniques
  • Ability to assess training needs and design effective training programs.
