Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Business Development & Sales Manager to expand our footprint in India and international markets. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in project-based sales and business development, particularly in the semiconductor and electronics sectors, including High Purity Chemicals, High Purity Gases, Specialty Gases, Isotopes, Fab Automation, and related domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in chemicals, gases, and semiconductor materials, with a focus on the electronics industry.
  • Manage and grow relationships with both domestic and international clients, ensuring smooth order processing and fulfilment.
  • Establish and maintain strong networks with key stakeholders in government and private sector industries.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for technical evaluations, cost estimation, and resource planning.
  • Attend client meetings, perform site inspections, and participate in trade shows, conferences, and tender presentations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities using internal software systems.
  • Resolve client issues, ensure after-sales support, and maintain long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Provide market intelligence on pricing trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
  • Lead deal negotiations and closings to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments to sustain market leadership.
  • Carry out any additional tasks as assigned by the management.

Requirements:

  • 2-8 years of proven experience in sales and marketing within the semiconductor and electronics sectors.
  • Strong business development and client acquisition capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated integrity, leadership qualities, and a result-driven mindset.
  • Ability to work on-site in Tiruchirappalli, Tamilnadu, India.
