Job Description

  • Sales Strategy & Planning:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies for TMT bars.
  • Set monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Channel Sales Development:
  • Build and strengthen the dealer/distributor network across assigned territories.
  • Ensure timely supply, pricing, and support to channel partners.
  • Conduct dealer meets, site visits, and marketing activities.
  • Project & Institutional Sales:
  • Identify and develop business from infrastructure projects, builders, contractors, and government departments.
  • Participate in tenders, rate contracts, and negotiations for large-volume deals.
  • Coordinate with the technical team for product specifications and support.
  • Team Management:
  • Lead a team of Area Sales Managers, Executives, and Territory Officers.
  • Assign targets, monitor performance, and provide regular coaching and guidance.
  • Conduct regular field visits and review meetings.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Maintain relationships with key clients, consultants, and influencers.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, handle escalations, and resolve issues effectively.
  • Drive repeat business and customer loyalty through value-added services.
  • Reporting & MIS:
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and action plans.
  • Monitor outstanding payments and ensure timely collections.
  • Maintain CRM and sales activity reports.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of TMT bar products, specifications, and market dynamics.
  • Proven track record in channel and project sales within the steel industry.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in sales software, CRM tools, and MS Office.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Graduate in any discipline (B.E./B.Tech or MBA in Marketing preferred).

Specialized training or certification in industrial/steel product marketing is an advantage
