Job Description

1. Sales Coordination & Support

  • Coordinate with the sales team, distributors, dealers, and field executives for daily sales activities.
  • Assist in preparing quotations, pricing sheets, product offers, tenders, and customer proposals.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on inquiries, quotations, and order status.
  • Maintain proper documentation for sales contracts, purchase orders, and approvals.

2. Order Processing & Execution

  • Process customer orders, verify details, and coordinate with the production and dispatch departments.
  • Track order manufacturing status, delivery timelines, and ensure on-time dispatch.
  • Work closely with logistics for shipment planning and tracking.

3. Sales Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management.
  • Track sales performance against targets for sales executives and distributors.
  • Analyse customer buying patterns, product demand, and market trends.

4. Customer Relationship Management

  • Act as the first point of contact for customer queries related to pricing, product availability, and deliveries.
  • Coordinate customer complaint resolutions with the service/QA team.
  • Build and maintain strong long-term customer relations.

5. Inventory & Stock Coordination

  • Monitor finished goods stock levels with the warehouse/production team.
  • Ensure fast-moving and slow-moving stock reports are updated.
  • Raise stock requirement alerts to management based on sales forecast.

6. Internal Coordination

  • Align with production, quality, logistics, and accounts teams to ensure smooth sales operations.
  • Coordinate for credit approvals, payments follow-ups, and outstanding reconciliation with finance.
  • Support the Marketing team in product launches, dealer meetings, and promotional activities.

7. Sales Team Management & Support

  • Guide field sales executives with data, leads, and follow-up requirements.
  • Track attendance, route plans, productivity, and daily working reports.
  • Help team members achieve individual and regional sales targets.

8. Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain compliance documentation such as GST invoices, delivery challans, warranty records, and customer onboarding forms.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing guidelines, and approval processes.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Educational Qualification

  • Graduate in Commerce.
  • Engineering or Technical background (Electrical)

    preferred but not mandatory.
  • MBA in Sales/Marketing is an added advantage.

2. Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 27 years of experience

    in sales coordination, inside sales, or back-end sales support.
  • Must have worked in

    electrical equipment, electrical components, hardware, manufacturing, or industrial products

    industry.
  • Experience in coordinating with sales teams, distributors, and field executives.

3. Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot, MIS reporting).
  • Comfortable working on ERP/CRM systems.
  • Basic understanding of electrical products like wires, cables, switchgear, panels, motors, or similar items.

4. Communication & Coordination Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to handle customer queries and internal department communication effectively.

5. Personality & Work Style

  • Highly organized with good time-management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving attitude and proactive approach.

6. Additional Requirements

  • Knowledge of order processing, dispatch tracking, and documentation.
  • Ability to prepare sales reports, forecasts, and MIS.
  • Team-supportive mindset and leadership qualities for guiding junior sales staff.
