Job Description

Role Objective


The Senior Relationship Manager is primarily responsible for marketing and booking new quality assets in the Bank's books. Responsible to meet the Branch Corporate & Commercial Business and Revenue targets for both assets and liabilities as directed by Head - Corporate Banking India in line with the overall Bank's policies, objectives, budget and plans


Detailed Roles and Responsibilities:

Primary:

Implementation of Doha Bank India's strategies and plans to achieve all volume, revenue, and profit targets.

Identify and market new business to meet target budgets for revenues and profitability in accordance with the Bank's overall corporate budget and strategy.

Negotiate the documentation, credit control and commercials with the customers in compliance to the sanctions and best interests of the Bank

Customer/ Relationship:

Build and maintain sustainable customer relationships to achieve Bank's targets

Collaborating with product teams like Trade Finance, Treasury etc to optimize the cross sell wallet with the customers.

Conduct regular meetings with customers apart from attending Consortium Meetings and maintain call reports

Attend and resolve customer requests appropriately

Arrange periodic senior level management meetings with Customers

Conduct periodic reviews and monitoring of customers in relation to market condition, account conduct etc.

Unit Visits to understand the operations of the company

Internal:

Commence Credit initiation to onboard new customers

Assist Credit Analyst and other teams for obtaining credit approvals.

Assist relevant teams for KYC, preparation of Documentation and monitoring of the performance of the Customers.

Conduct periodic credit and performance review and

Review overdue reports to identify potential problematic accounts and spot early warning signals and follow-up for suitable remedial actions.

Adherence to internal policies, compliance as well as external regulatory and other applicable norms.

Others:

Liaise with other Banks, credit agencies etc for sourcing information and market intelligence in interest of the Bank.

MIS and other reporting for management to build strategies for the Bank.

Assist in Audit replies like that of internal, HO, statutory, RBI etc

Maintenance of high standards of confidentiality and ethics to safeguard any sensitive information including of the customers.

Any other adhoc duties as may be requested by Management of the Bank.


Essential Qualification/Experience Required:

At least 8-10 years of Corporate Banking experience dealing with A-rated Corporates with minimum turnover of 1500 cr.

MBA/post-graduation or professional qualification in Finance.

Relationship management skills, seek self-initiatives to achieve the defined targets and work as an individual contributor.

Competent knowledge of macro-economics, international and India events, regulatory framework, finance and corporate banking

Ability to handle pressure and decision-making skills

Credit profiling and Analytics

Soft interpersonal skills and can work collaboratively.
