Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage estimation, billing, contracts, and cost control for construction projects. The role requires independent handling of commercial activities, coordination with clients and consultants, and leadership of junior QS staff.

Key Responsibilities Estimation & Budgeting

• Prepare detailed BOQs, cost estimates, and project budgets
• Handle tendering, rate analysis, and techno-commercial evaluations
• Review drawings and suggest cost optimization and value engineering measures

Billing & Contract Management

• Independently prepare and manage RA bills and final bills
• Certify subcontractor and vendor bills
• Prepare and manage variation orders, extra items, and claims
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions

Cost Control & Commercial Management

• Monitor project costs against budgets and prepare variance reports
• Control material consumption and subcontractor costs
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and billing schedules

Client & PMC Coordination

• Coordinate with clients, PMCs, auditors, and consultants
• Resolve billing disputes, quantity variations, and commercial issues
• Support project closure, final accounts, and audit processes

Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in Quantity Surveying, billing, contracts, and cost control
• Excellent command of MS Excel, AutoCAD, and MIS reporting
• Good understanding of DSR / SSR and prevailing market rates
• Strong negotiation, documentation, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage and mentor junior QS staff

Qualifications

• B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

OR

• Diploma in Civil Engineering

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Front-end development, backend development: 1 year (Preferred)
