We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Quality Engineer to join our team in the cables industry. The ideal candidate will oversee and improve product quality processes, ensure compliance with industry standards, and work collaboratively to maintain the highest levels of quality and reliability in cable manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Assurance and Control:
Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure products meet company and customer standards.
Inspect and test raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
2. Standards and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO, IEC, or other relevant certifications.
Maintain and update quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and inspection plans.
3. Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for quality improvements in production processes and systems.
Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects, such as Six Sigma or Lean initiatives.
4. Supplier and Vendor Quality:
Evaluate and monitor supplier quality performance.
Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement improvement plans.
5. Testing and Analysis:
Conduct mechanical, electrical, and environmental tests specific to cables.
Use testing equipment like tensile testers, dielectric strength testers, and resistance measuring devices.
Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports for management.
6. Collaboration and Training:
Work closely with production, engineering, and R&D teams to ensure quality objectives are met.
Train team members on quality standards and inspection techniques.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical, Mechanical, or Quality Engineering).
Experience: 2-5 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in the cable manufacturing or similar industry.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with cable production processes, materials, and testing methods.
Proficiency in quality management systems (QMS).
Knowledge of industry standards like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or equivalent.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Six Sigma, Lean, or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools like Minitab.
Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations related to cable manufacturing.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
