Job Summary: The Senior Engineer – QA/QC is responsible for ensuring the implementation and enforcement of quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. This role plays a key part in monitoring execution activities on-site, identifying quality deviations, and guiding teams to maintain compliance with project and regulatory requirements. The incumbent will also be responsible for managing non-conformities, leading a team of quality engineers, and interfacing with consultants, PMC, and clients on quality matters. Key Responsibilities: Quality Compliance Monitoring : Continuously monitor on-site execution to ensure strict adherence to approved quality standards, project specifications, and contractual requirements. Execution Support & Quality Assurance : Provide proactive, on-site guidance to the execution team to identify and prevent potential quality deviations during construction activities. Quality Awareness & Training : Conduct daily Toolbox Talks (TBTs) focused on quality awareness; maintain and share the TBT tracker to ensure team alignment on quality expectations. Inspection & Observation Reporting : Regularly raise Observation Reports based on site conditions and progress to highlight risks, deviations, or quality concerns requiring corrective actions. Non-Conformance Management : Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as necessary; track and verify the implementation of corrective and preventive measures to resolve quality issues. Consultant/Client Interface : Liaise with Consultants, PMC, and Clients to address and close quality observations and NCRs raised externally, ensuring timely resolution and documentation. Team Leadership & Mentoring : Lead, coach, and supervise a team of quality engineers on-site, promoting continuous improvement and a culture of quality excellence. Documentation & Records Management Ensure all QA/QC documentation, including inspection records, checklists, reports, and logs, are maintained in accordance with project and regulatory standards. Key Requirements : Bachelor’s Degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering . 3 – 5 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control roles in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects. Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook . Working knowledge of AutoCAD (preferred but not mandatory). Strong written and verbal communication skills in English . Good understanding of QA/QC documentation, ISO standards, and site inspection procedures.
