Job Title: Senior AI Automation Test Engineer Exp : 5 Years to 10 Years. Location : Remote. We are looking for a seasoned Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to drive automation excellence across UI and backend services. The ideal candidate will be proficient in TypeScript with Playwright for frontend automation, and Python for backend service and API test automation. This role also demands experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS). Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks for frontend (Playwright/TypeScript) and backend (Python) testing. Develop and execute automated test suites for web applications and APIs ensuring functional and regression coverage. Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps to shift-left testing and embed quality in CI/CD pipelines. Integrate automated tests with Git-based workflows and build tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.). Contribute to synthetic test data generation and data-driven testing approaches. Champion automation best practices, code reviews, and continuous improvements in test efficiency and coverage. Work closely with product and development teams to understand acceptance criteria and translate them into robust automated tests. Leverage AWS (or similar cloud platforms) to deploy test environments, use cloud-native services (e.g., Lambda, S3, API Gateway) as part of test execution strategy.(Nice To have) Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation as an SDET or Automation Engineer. Proficient in TypeScript with hands-on experience using Playwright for UI automation. Strong expertise in Python for backend/API automation using frameworks like Pytest, Requests, or custom test harnesses. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, and response validation. Experience with Git and working in Git-based branching workflows (feature branches, pull requests, code reviews). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or similar). Working knowledge of AWS (or equivalent cloud platform), with experience in using services for test deployments or automation tooling. (Nice to have) Exposure to containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. Good knowledge of test strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end), code quality, and debugging practices.
