Job Description

Job Summary:

Senior QA Analyst

This role demands a proactive, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze production issues, coordinate root cause analysis with BA and development teams, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Work closely with BAs to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test cases and test strategies.
  • Perform end-to-end QA testing, including

    functional

    ,

    regression

    , and

    integration

    testing for insurance applications.
  • Validate and verify policy data across all stages of the

    Policy Life Cycle (New Business, Renewal, Endorsement, Cancellation, Reinstatement)

    .
  • Conduct thorough testing of financial modules related to billing, payments, and accounting functionalities.
  • Understand and validate various forms and endorsements attached to policies throughout the PLC.
  • Prepare detailed QA documentation including test plans, test scripts, defect reports, and status reports.
  • Ensure traceability from requirements to test cases and test results.
  • Engage in

    UAT support

    and

    post-production validations

    as necessary.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5–8 years

    of experience in

    Professional Healthcare Liability Insurance

    .
  • 1–2 years

    of hands-on

    Business Analyst

    experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of

    insurance policy life cycle

    , financial modules, and standard insurance forms/documents.
  • Hands-on experience with QA methodologies and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
  • Proficiency in analyzing logs, identifying root causes of production issues, and coordinating with developers for fixes.
  • Ability to read and understand SQL queries and validate data across systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – must be able to document findings, communicate with stakeholders, and present insights clearly.
  • Self-starter with a sense of ownership and the ability to work independently or within a team.
