Senior QA Engineer

Job Summary

• Design comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts for product validation
• Create detailed QA checklists and test creation processes to ensure thorough coverage of all product functionality
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for efficient regression testing and continuous integration
• Conduct integration testing to identify gaps between system components and ensure seamless functionality
• Perform black box testing to validate software behavior from end-user perspective
• Understand product architecture deeply to design test cases that address all potential integration gaps
• Mentor junior QA team members and provide guidance on testing methodologies and best practices
• Collaborate with development teams to identify defects early and ensure quality standards are met throughout the development lifecycle
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on software quality and areas for improvement
• Implement and maintain CI/CD testing workflows to support continuous delivery processes
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with strong background in both manual and automated testing
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java or JavaScript for test automation
• Deep understanding of integration testing methodologies and black box testing techniques
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and test management systems like JIRA
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify complex system interactions and potential failure points
  

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of performance testing tools and security testing principles
