Role Description

We're an ambitious startup seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our close-knit team. While your primary focus will be on quality assurance, our dynamic environment often requires a collaborative and adaptive approach. • Work closely with product managers, designers, and the rest of the engineering team to build elegant and scalable product experience across multiple platforms
• Review product requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Manually execute test cases, document results, and track defects through the bug lifecycle
• Log clear and reproducible bug reports with detailed steps, screenshots, and videos as neededRe-test resolved defects to verify fixes and prevent regressions
• Validate data accuracy and system behavior across different browsers, devices, and environments
• Test Data & Documentation – Maintain and update test cases effectively and maintain comprehensive documentation for audits, knowledge sharing, and future reference.
• Strategize and develop ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends
• Be willing to jump in and assist other areas of the product lifecycle when needed, exemplifying the startup spirit.

Requirements

1. Educational Background:

   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

2. Experience:

   2-5 years in software QA, with a preference for startup or agile environments.

3. Adaptability:

   Comfortable with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities.

4. Communication:

   Excellent communication skills; ability to articulate issues clearly and concisely.

5. Initiative:

   Proactive mindset, suggesting improvements and taking ownership.

6. Technical Proficiency:

   Familiarity with web and/or mobile app technologies, databases, and SQL.

7. Bonus:

   Exposure to automation tools, even if not deeply experienced.

8. Team Spirit:

   A can-do attitude, ready to support team members in various capacities.
