Key Responsibilities: Execute the QA testing process for Android TV software, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards. Collaborate dynamically with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand product requirements and deliver exceptional software. Innovate and maintain automated and manual test cases to elevate testing quality. Accurately identify, record, and track defects using premier tools, ensuring timely resolution of issues. Perform comprehensive regression, functional, integration, and performance testing on Android TV applications. Craft detailed test documentation and articulate reports to convey testing results to stakeholders clearly. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies, contributing to the team's progress. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 3-5+ years of experience in software testing, focusing on Android TV or similar platforms. In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks for Android is highly desirable. Experience with performance and load testing tools is a significant advantage. Superior problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, facilitating clear and effective collaboration. Proven ability to work independently and cohesively within a team in a fast-paced environment. Roles And Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Android TV software products to ensure outstanding releases. Perform rigorous testing of Apple Certification test cases and ensure compliance with Apple certification requirements. Collaborate effectively with software developers and product managers to understand system requirements and functionalities, creating impactful test cases. Execute functional, regression, performance, and usability testing on Android TV applications and services. Accurately identify, report, and track defects and issues through the testing lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and verification of fixes. Develop and maintain sophisticated automated testing frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. Ensure compliance with quality standards and industry best practices across the software development lifecycle. Conduct thorough reviews of requirements, specifications, and designs, providing insightful feedback on product quality and testability. Participate actively in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the QA team and broader development organization. Stay informed on industry trends and technologies related to Android TV and software testing, integrating relevant knowledge into testing strategies. Collaborate harmoniously with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of testing processes into development workflows.
