We are an incubated startup at IIM Ventures. Job Overview We are seeking a Senior Python Developer to join our innovative team in Ahmedabad. As a crucial team member, you will develop, test, and implement software solutions that align with our mission to advance construction project monitoring. With up to 10 years of experience, you will leverage your expertise in Python and related technologies. This is a full-time position where you will collaborate with a skilled team to drive project success. Qualifications and Skills Proficiency in Python with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex applications using this language. Strong knowledge of building REST APIs to ensure reliable and scalable backend systems supporting seamless integration capabilities. In-depth experience in Django framework for developing robust backend solutions and web applications. Expertise in integrating AI components into applications, enhancing capabilities through smart analytics and automation. Competence in API design with a focus on performance, security, and scalability for modern web applications. Proficiency with GitHub for version control and collaborative software development, ensuring efficient project management and code integrity. Experience with PostgreSQL for handling complex data queries and ensuring data integrity in application development. Understanding of geospatial data and its application in construction projects to provide valuable insights and optimizations. Roles and Responsibilities Design and implement robust, scalable, and reliable software solutions that align with client requirements and industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features that enhance the functionality of our platform. Integrate AI and machine learning components into existing systems for improved analytical capabilities and project insights. Enhance and maintain existing applications, ensuring optimal performance through efficient debugging and troubleshooting. Develop clear and detailed technical documentation for system architecture, code, and user manuals where necessary. Lead code reviews and contribute to a continuous improvement culture by recommending best practices for coding and design. Participate in project planning and strategic discussions to improve project delivery timelines and quality. Contribute to the security and data integrity of various systems, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.
