Senior Project Manager

Role Overview: As a member of Alstef Group, you will play an active role in continuous improvement by identifying issues or improvements with products or systems and raising required changes through the company's continuous improvement process. You will be responsible for following, promoting, reviewing, and improving company processes such as the Project Management Process (PMP) and ensuring that all team members are fully trained in these processes. Additionally, you will promote and participate in 5S to keep the workplace tidy and organized, while also upholding the company values. Key Responsibilities: - Manage allocated projects to ensure that established budgets are met and margins are protected and maintained/enhanced. - Ensure accurate and timely financial reports, specifically cost-to-complete estimates and cost at completion, are submitted monthly. - Proactively manage purchase orders on-site, controlling usage and expenditure. - Oversee the management of operational and resource requirements for the project, including timely ordering of all necessary products, materials, and resources. - Coordinate with design teams (Electrical, Mechanical, and Software) and the manufacturing facility to ensure project success. - Communicate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate project progress. - Make commercially prudent subcontractor or supplier selections without compromising project quality and safety requirements. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 15+ years of relevant experience in project management, including on-site management capability. - Proven experience in negotiation, conflict management, and delivering project outcomes with contractual documentation. - Sound working knowledge of contractual and commercial issues, financial management, budgeting processes, and project scheduling and planning. - A tertiary engineering qualification is preferred, with a mechanical background being advantageous. - Must be able to travel frequently for extended periods to successfully perform in the role.,
