Senior Project Consultant - Mine Survey

Purpose/Objective

As the Survey Lead, the incumbent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating survey activities in adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all mines. Their role encompasses conducting monthly surveys and quarterly reconnaissance surveys, ensuring accurate and timely data collection to meet the survey requirements of the mines. Additionally, they provide technical support for Greenfield projects, including boundary demarcation, land possession scheduling, topographic surveys, and the generation of comprehensive topographic reports. Furthermore, the Survey Lead collaborates closely with the mine planning team, offering expertise in map preparation and public plan development.

Key Responsibilities of Role

1. Managing SOP compliance, Volume and Lead cross verifications. 2. Support to Mine Planning, Geology ,ERC, Environment, Railway and all mining and project sites in the purview of MTCS scope. 3. Coordination with all stakeholders for Vendor invoicing & payments as per SO/PO ( related to Survey) provided by MTCS to vendor or any other entity to MTCS 4. Coordination with Site teams for DGPS & drone surveys, preparation of Cadastral maps, Topographical maps , Land-Use maps and Land schedules.
