We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Site Supervisor to manage and oversee all on-site activities for our high-end hotel interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all project phases are executed efficiently, adhere to strict timelines and budgets, and meet the exacting quality standards required for the hospitality sector, all while maintaining a strong focus on safety. Key Responsibilities: * Project Execution & Supervision: Lead and coordinate all daily on-site interior works specific to hotels, including guest rooms, lobbies, restaurants, banquet halls, spas, and other public areas. This includes civil, carpentry, custom millwork, false ceiling, painting, specialized flooring, lighting, plumbing, HVAC coordination, and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) installation. * Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality checks to ensure all finishes, installations, and bespoke elements meet the luxury standards and design specifications of the hotel brand. Conduct detailed inspections and ensure adherence to relevant building codes and hospitality industry standards. The RMC Plant Operator is responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the ready mix concrete plant, ensuring the production of high-quality concrete mixes according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of concrete production processes, equipment maintenance, and quality control. Key Responsibilities: * Plant Operation: * Operate and monitor all components of the RMC plant, including batching systems, mixers, conveyors, and aggregate hoppers. * Control the precise weighing and mixing of raw materials (cement, aggregates, water, admixtures) according to mix designs and customer orders. * Adjust batching parameters as needed to ensure consistency and quality of concrete. * Monitor production rates and ensure timely dispatch of concrete. * Quality Control: * Conduct regular checks on raw material quality (e.g., aggregate moisture content, cement quality). * Perform slump tests and other quality control procedures on fresh concrete to ensure compliance with specifications. * Record and report any deviations from quality standards. * Collaborate with the quality control team to resolve any issues. * Maintenance and Troubleshooting: * Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance on plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. * Identify and troubleshoot operational issues or mechanical breakdowns promptly. * Report major maintenance issues to the supervisor or maintenance department. * Assist with minor repairs and adjustments as needed. * Safety and Compliance: * Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO). * Ensure the plant environment is clean, organized, and free from hazards. * Comply with all environmental regulations related to RMC plant operations. * Report all incidents, accidents, or near-misses immediately. * Documentation and Reporting: * Maintain accurate records of production data, material consumption, quality control tests, and dispatches. * Generate daily production reports and other required documentation. * Communicate effectively with dispatch, truck drivers, and supervisors. Qualifications: * Education: High school diploma or equivalent; ITI certification in a relevant trade (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical) is a plus. * Experience: Proven experience (X years, e.g., 2-5 years) operating an RMC plant. * Technical Skills: * Strong understanding of concrete mix designs and batching processes. * Proficiency in operating computerized batching systems (e.g., SCADA systems). * Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. * Familiarity with quality control tests for concrete. * Attributes: * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. * Strong problem-solving abilities. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Good communication skills. * Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and perform manual tasks. Working Conditions: * Primarily operates from a control room but also involves working around the plant in varying weather conditions. * May involve standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting of materials. * Requires adherence to strict safety regulations and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
