Senior Production Manager

As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the production process to ensure timely manufacturing of products within budget and meeting quality standards. Your role will involve coordinating resources, managing personnel, and effectively meeting production goals and deadlines. Your key responsibilities will include: - Production Planning and Scheduling: Developing and maintaining production schedules, monitoring workflows, and allocating resources based on production needs. - Team Leadership and Supervision: Leading and managing a team of production workers, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring safe and efficient resource utilization. - Quality Control: Implementing and monitoring quality control processes, resolving quality issues, and maintaining high product quality standards. - Budget and Cost Control: Monitoring and managing the production budget, identifying areas for cost reduction without compromising quality. - Inventory and Resource Management: Overseeing inventory of raw materials, parts, and supplies, ensuring timely procurement, and collaborating with supply chain departments. - Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Proactively addressing production issues, working with cross-functional teams to find solutions, and quickly resolving equipment malfunctions or staff shortages. - Health, Safety, and Compliance: Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, promoting safety measures, and staying updated on relevant laws and regulations. - Continuous Improvement: Monitoring production performance, identifying optimization opportunities, implementing methodologies for efficiency improvement, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. - Reporting and Documentation: Preparing and presenting reports on production performance, maintaining production documentation, and ensuring accurate data capture for analysis. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred. - Experience: 15-20 years of proven experience in production or manufacturing management, familiarity with production management software and tools, and experience in managing teams, budgets, and schedules. - Skills: Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, time management, and SAP proficiency. Experience in Rubber Extrusion and Key Machine operations and the ability to handle shifts with about 200 team members are required.,
