The Maize Production Head will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of maize production including planning and implementing production schedules, ensuring quality control, managing production teams, and coordinating with supply chain and logistics. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Production Manager located in Sathupally/Karimnagar. The Senior Production Manager will oversee and manage daily production operations, plan and schedule production activities, ensure quality control standards, and monitor inventory levels. The role also involves coordinating with various departments to streamline production processes and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Job Description > Planning & Strategy: Develop and implement seed production strategies, including organizer selection, area allocation, and production volume planning. > Seed Quality Assurance: Ensure genetic purity, germination, and seed health through robust quality checks and adherence to company standards. > Cost & Efficiency Management: Monitor input use, organizer payments, and yields to optimize production costs and maintain budget discipline. > Grower & Supplier Management: Build and manage strong relationships with growers, suppliers, and production partners to ensure reliable, quality output. > Team Leadership: Lead, guide, and motivate production teams to achieve production, quality, and cost targets. > Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records on production metrics, yields, and expenses; share periodic reports for management review. Job Requirements > M.Sc. in Agriculture with 10+ years of experience in paddy/maize seed production. > Strong network and working relationships with seed production organizers and contractors.
