Key Responsibilities Lead, plan, and control all production activities to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly output targets. Develop and implement effective production schedules, resource allocation, and workforce planning. Ensure smooth coordination between production, maintenance, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams. Monitor production KPIs (OEE, yield, downtime, rework, etc.) and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies to enhance process efficiency. Manage manpower deployment, skill development, and training of production staff. Ensure adherence to safety protocols, statutory regulations, and environmental guidelines. Oversee preventive maintenance programs and ensure minimal equipment downtime. Control production costs, monitor budgets, and reduce waste through efficient material utilization. Collaborate with the planning and procurement teams for raw material availability and production forecasting. Conduct regular performance reviews, audits, and root cause analyses for deviations in quality or process. Maintain compliance with ISO, GMP, HACCP, or other industry-specific quality standards. Lead production reporting, documentation, and presentation to senior management.
