Job Summary:
The Procurement - senior executive is responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement activities of an organization. They are tasked with sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services required for the company's operations. The Procurement - senior executive plays a critical role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of high-quality materials, equipment, and services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to optimize the procurement process and achieve cost savings.
2. Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain.
3. Conduct market research and monitor industry trends to stay updated on pricing, availability, and quality of goods and services.
4. Manage the procurement budget, track expenses, and implement cost control measures to meet financial objectives.
5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as operations, finance, and project teams, to understand their procurement needs and provide effective solutions.
6. Assess and manage risks associated with procurement activities, including supplier selection, delivery delays, quality issues, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
7. Lead and supervise a procurement team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure efficient and professional procurement operations.
8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, resolving any issues or disputes promptly and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
9. Stay informed about advancements in procurement technology and tools, and implement relevant systems to streamline procurement processes.
10. Monthly Projection of all the inventory items and decrease in TAT of procurement.
11. To fulfill the B2B requirement in specified period.
12. Project based output
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
2. 2-3 years of experience as a Procurement executive or in a similar procurement role.
3. In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
4. Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
6. Proficient in using procurement software and systems.
7. Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
