Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant, Solution Architect
In this role, you will be responsible for defining end-to-end solution architecture, leading the design of scalable and resilient systems, collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, guiding development teams on best practices and standards, ensuring security, performance, and scalability, and supporting delivery in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-level technical architectures aligned with enterprise standards.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and platforms while ensuring consistency and best practices across systems.
- Work closely with business, product, and engineering teams to clarify requirements, resolve trade-offs, and ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions.
- Review designs, identify technical risks, ensure non-functional requirements (performance, security, availability) are met, and guide teams on architectural decisions.
- Provide technical guidance to development teams, review implementations, and ensure the solution is delivered as per the approved architecture.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in software engineering, including solution or technical architecture leadership
- Strong expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and designing enterprise-scale RESTful and event-driven architectures
- Proven experience designing and delivering cloud-native solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Hands-on experience with cloud services including compute, storage, networking, messaging, and monitoring
- Strong knowledge of API design, security (OAuth2, JWT, SSO, IAM), and non-functional requirements (scalability, performance, availability)
- Proficiency in SQL and experience designing data solutions using relational and NoSQL databases
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and DevOps/CI/CD practices (Git, Maven/Gradle, pipelines)
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to mentor teams and drive architectural decisions
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and modern API design standards
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Working knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-native patterns
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
- Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of performance, scalability, and security best practices
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration
