Job Description

Payroll/ Accounting:
  • Ensure timely and error free payroll process.
  • Ensure that the all the departments have shared the information/data required for payroll.
  • Reconcile payroll prior to finalization and validate payroll reports.
  • Prepare reports for the global accounting for Finance team
  • Regular review of SOP s, Control Matrix and FAQ s for standard operating process
  • Keep process documentation up to date with latest amendments on Payroll
  • Research on complex payroll issues, implement solutions and suggest required adjustments
  • Should be able to communicate with employees on all payroll/Tax related matters
  • Processing the special payments as per the Global payroll team s data and verifications of the contracts/ employee agreements
  • Ensure that the data is presented in the formats prescribed by the Finance team
Statutory Compliance:
  • Ensure accurate and timely generation of all the statutory reports
  • Timely filing of Monthly, Bi-annual, and Annual returns
  • Implement the amendments in the statutory acts and rules applicable to FactSet
  • Timely and accurate closure of the taxes.
  • Adhere to regulatory reporting guidelines and filing deadlines
Database Management:
  • Ensure that the Compensation data in Workday is accurate
  • Ensure that the primary data required for payroll and tax process is updated and available in Workday
  • Regular validation of the Job profile and compensation data
  • Ensure that the compensation data is accurate in all internal tools
Audits and Inspections:
  • Provide payroll Statutory data required for the Audits
  • Responding to the queries raised by the auditor on the payroll policies, process and reporting s
  • Coordinate with the HR shared services team on employee data changes and maintain real time data in the repository for audits
Vendor Compliance:
  • Ensure that all the clauses /SLA s as per the contract are followed in the payroll process.
  • Focus on the indemnity clause and termination clauses
Qualifications
5+ years experience in handling Shanghai, Singapore payroll and statutory compliance
Ability to effectively work with diverse cultures in a global team
Ability to successfully partner with the Senior executives
Demonstrate ability to identify gaps, issues and then analyze to design, develop strategies (i.e., mentoring, team building, group facilitation, organization structure and design, etc.) to improve performance.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and a flexible approach
