Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Senior Payroll Executive role based in Velachery. The Senior Payroll Executive will oversee end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include processing payroll, reconciling payroll accounts, preparing reports, and addressing employee inquiries. The role will involve liaising with stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality regarding sensitive payroll information, and ensuring timely submissions to regulatory bodies. The Senior Payroll Executive will also support process improvements and ensure adherence to payroll policies and compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in payroll management and compliance, including processing payroll and ensuring accurate submissions
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations, statutory deductions, and labor laws
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy in reconciling payroll accounts, and record maintenance
  • Proven skills in communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management
  • Advanced proficiency in payroll software, tools, and MS Excel
  • Prior experience of 3-5 years in payroll or related fields is required; experience in global payroll processes is an advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, results-driven environment
