Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Senior Network Engineer
to design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for maintaining and developing scalable, secure, and high-performance network architectures that support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers).
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
Troubleshoot network issues and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access.
Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
Document network problems and resolutions for future reference.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of proven experience in a network administrator or network engineer role.
Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools.
In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS).
Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and security best practices.
Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python scripting).
Knowledge of SD-WAN and network virtualization technologies.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Work Environment:

Hybrid/On-site/Remote (customize as needed)
May require occasional travel to data centers or branch offices.
