Senior Merchandiser

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Senior Merchandiser – Fabric Sales to lead and expand our client base across garment manufacturers, high fashion domestic designers (especially in Shahpur Jat), and online fashion brands. This role is ideal for someone who understands fabrics deeply, has a strong network in Delhi NCR's garment industry, and can build long-term B2B relationships with clients in the fashion space. Key Responsibilities: Identify and meet with garment manufacturers, fashion designers, and online fashion brands across Delhi NCR Build strong working relationships with buyers, sourcing teams, and creative heads Present fabric collections – both dyed and printed – explaining technical details, MOQ, and pricing Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure timely delivery and sampling Negotiate prices and close sales orders while maintaining high profit margins Stay updated with market trends, designer requirements, and upcoming seasons Ensure client satisfaction and create repeat business opportunities Visit markets like Shahpur Jat, Okhla, Noida, and other hubs regularly for in-person meetings What We’re Looking For: 7–10 years of relevant experience in fabric sales, merchandising, or garment/fashion industry sales Strong network and experience dealing with domestic high fashion designers, multi-designer boutiques, and D2C brands Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Deep understanding of different types of fabrics (cotton, viscose, polyester, blends, etc.) Self-driven personality who can handle targets and maintain client relationships independently Must have knowledge of current fashion trends and how fabrics align with them Willingness to travel across Delhi NCR for client visits Bonus if You Have: Worked with Shahpur Jat or Okhla-based designers before Experience working with online brands selling on platforms like Nykaa, Ajio, Myntra, etc. Background in fashion/textile studies or merchandising
